
Richard H Munro Jr. is an Electrical Engineer and Project Manager from Triad Project Management Services, Inc. Triad provides project management and science and engineering services to government-funded research projects. Rick’s experience includes 20 years as Chief Project Engineer in industry, including managing 7 project engineers and 8 drafters at 5 locations on the east coast. His responsibilities included Portfolio Management of well over 100 projects each year. Rick has designed and installed 1000 kva high voltage substations and motor control centers, programmed and installed distributed control systems for complete processes, and major equipment and facility installations. He has also been responsible for the operation and maintenance for all of the instrumentation at a major industrial plant. Rick worked on the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) project at Lockheed Martin, where he was responsible for the Earned Value cost and schedule management for a $890M portion of the project. In addition, he worked on the Atacama Large Millimeter Array (ALMA), an international astronomy facility located in Chile, with the National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) which was funded by the National Science Foundation.
