
Annette DeSchon is a Systems Programmer in the Computer Networks Division of the USC Information Sciences Institute, where she is developing a prototype of the High Assurance Internet Protocol Encryption (HAIPE) system. Before ISI she worked at System Development Corporation (SDC), which later became Burroughs, which later became Unisys. At SDC Annette focused on ARPANET protocols, secure networking, and air defense systems. She has also worked at Apple, where she created key elements of MacOS X’s WebDAV, TCP/IP, and AppleTalk, as well as AIX Network Servers.
