Jody Bolyard received his B.S. (Mechanical Engineering) from West Virginia University in 1985. He obtained his MS (Occupational Safety) from East Carolina University in 2003. Jody worked with a national consulting engineering firm providing environmental and safety support for a variety of commercial, industrial, and governmental clients for 13 years. For the last 10 years, he worked with the National Radio Astronomy Observatory as the Environment, Safety, and Security Manager. These efforts included the development and implementation of the safety program for the ALMA project in Chile and also included responsibilities for system safety acceptance of project deliverables. Jody is a Certified Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM) as well as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
