In Salute to Steve Schneider

NEON, Inc. regrets the passing of Steve Schneider, “climate warrior” and good friend to many in the organization. Dr. Schneider died Monday on a flight to London.

Dr. Schneider was considered a vocal leader in the field of climate science, often using the results of complex scientific models he developed to press for action on global warming. He was part of a United Nations Panel in climate change that shared the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize with former Vice President Al Gore.
