Kudos for Karin Remington

The Board of NEON, Inc. and the NEON Project Office staff congratulate Dr. Karin Remington as she assumes her new position at NIH: Director of the Center for Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS). During her tenure as NEON Project Manager in 2007, Dr. Remington brought invaluable leadership and extraordinary organizational skills to bear on the complex task of navigating NEON through its Preliminary Design Review. Though her time with us was short, Dr. Remington will be long remembered for her contributions to the advancement of NEON and its culture. Great leaders make the people around them better, as Dr. Remington’s new staff and colleagues at NIGMS will soon discover. Congratulations Karin, and best of luck.
