A Special Session at ESA:
What is NEON Becoming?

Dr. David Schimel (NEON CEO) and Dr. Alan Knapp (Colorado State University) will provide an up-to-date overview of the National Ecological Observatory Network at the Ecological Society of America/Society for Ecological Restoration International Conference in San Jose, California. Additional experts will describe NEON instrumental sensors and measurements, education and outreach, remote sensing, modeling, and more. Representatives from the National Science Foundation will articulate the implications of NEON for NSF support of ecological science. Q&A will follow the presentations, scheduled for 10 am-11:30 am, August 6, 2007.
