About BudBurst
at the Gardens
The Chicago Botanic Garden and Project BudBurst have teamed up to bring you a special project, BudBurst at the Gardens. By participating in BudBurst at the Gardens, staff, volunteers, and botanic garden visitors are learning more about how plants respond to changes in their environments so that they can be conserved for future generations to enjoy.

BudBurst at the Gardens was designed to help you experience botanical gardens through the lives of plants. Participants in BudBurst at the Gardens help monitor the life cycles of plants while visiting, volunteering, or working at botanic gardens. When you become a part of our growing community, you provide plant observations that help further a better understanding about how botanic garden plant communities are responding to changing climates and environments.
