Dr. Gary A. Lamberti is Professor and Chair of the Department of Biological Sciences, University of Notre Dame. He earned his BS in Entomology from the University of California at Davis and his Ph.D. in Entomological Sciences from the University of California at Berkeley. Dr. Lamberti’s research interests include stream and river ecology; ecological subsidies; plant-herbivore interactions in freshwater ecosystems; ecology of invasive species; watershed ecology; nutrient cycling in aquatic ecosystems; restoration ecology; biology of anadromous salmonids; ecotoxicology of novel chemicals; and global change biology. He has served as Director of Graduate Studies at the University of Notre Dame and as President of the North American Benthological Society.
