Sandra Chung

Sandra Chung is an online and social media specialist with ten years of experience in journalism and education squeezed in alongside her science career. She strives to entertain, enlighten and engage a wide audience with accurate and memorable stories about science and the people who do it. Prior to becoming a full-time science communicator, Sandra worked on an inexpensive test for microbial water contamination in developing countries. She holds a graduate certificate in Science Communication from the University of California, Santa Cruz; an M.S.P.H. in Environmental Science from the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Global Public Health,; and B.S. degrees in Biology and Brain & Cognitive Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
